† Matthew Revelation: the untold story

The idea is that Matthew and revelation can be matched up sequentially by contiguous sections of text. Matthew 1 through 25 matches up with Revelation 1 through 22. There's one small place in Matthew that does not match anything in Revelation, see if you can find it. In some places whole chapters match up nicely for instance Matthew 10 and Revelation 7, but this is the exception rather than the rule. It would be nice if chapter 1 matched chapter 1 and 2 matched 2 and so forth, but they don't. You can read these blog entries to piece it together or figure it out for yourself, you decide. The two blogs cover the same subject matter but in different ways.

Matthew 22 [ 41 ] While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, [ 42 ] Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The Son of David. [ 43 ] He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying, [ 44 ] The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool? [ 45 ] If David then call him Lord, how is he his son? [ 46 ] And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions. Revelation 22 [ 16 ] I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Criticize this: Matthew 21 [ 12 ] And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves , [ 13 ] And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves. Revelation 19 [ 21 ] And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh. Rev.20 [ 1 ] And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. [ 2 ] And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, [ 3 ] And cast him into the bottomless pit , and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a litt...

Matt.17 [ 1 ] And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, [ 2 ] And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. Matt.16 [ 28 ] Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. Rev.16 [ 12 ] And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. [ 13 ] And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. [ 14 ] For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. [15] Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. [16] And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

Matt.16 [ 27 ] For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. Rev.16 [ 10 ] And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast ; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, [ 11 ] And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

Matt.16 [26] For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul ? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Rev.16 [ 8 ] And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. [ 9 ] And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

Matt.16 [ 25 ] For whosoever will save his life shall lose it : and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. Rev.16 [ 4 ] And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. [ 5 ] And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. [ 6 ] For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets , and thou hast given them blood to drink ; for they are worthy. [ 7 ] And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments. .

Matt.16 [ 24 ] Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. Rev.16 [ 3 ] And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea. .

Matt.16 [23] But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. Rev.16 [ 2 ] And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.

Matt.22 [ 35 ] Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, Rev.22 [ 15 ] For without are ..., and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Matt.13 [ 10 ] And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? [ 11 ] He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. [ 12 ] For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. [ 13 ] Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. [ 14 ] And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: [ 15 ] For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. Matt.16 [ 1 ] The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven. Rev.15 [ 1 ] And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.

So I just had a dream. In the dream they were wanting me to fly into outer space with two different types of gigantic taco chips. Regular yellow chips or those Deep Blue Chips. The chips were both triangular and approximately 1 foot across on a side. They both came in wax paper bags. I remember that they both tasted the same. It was a very big deal for some reason people from all over the world we're weighing in on the matter. Which ones were better the blue ones or the yellow ones. For some reason the chips are being housed at this house that had a somewhat Spanish accent to it. There are beautiful trees. One of the trees was covered in gigantic blooms with organic leaves that were maybe a foot across. It almost look like they were those paper crepe paper or something but they were alive. Of course there was a back door key involved hidden under a giant carpet. The back door key was completely normal looking it was so ridiculous. It was completely out of place. And naturally there...

Job.2 [ 1 ] Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD. [ 2 ] And the LORD said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. [ 3 ] And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.  It seems like today there's sort of three images of God of course there's a lot more images than that I mean everybody's got their own view of who God is and what he looks like and if he exists or not but when it was and I think there's a lot of scientist that actually hold of this they may not stay at but God is this guy who kicked everything off got it all started for us nice kick back with his feet up got his hands behind his head kind of kick back relaxing every once in awhile servings come by and drop grapes in his mouth stuff like that how do you spell basically just seeing how things turn out you know so that that that's one sort of an insurance or the guy who's going to have a lunch or whatever or just not involved The Other Extreme and and there's the image of the of the sky who's like super scary he's and he's an angry all the time lightning bolt flashing out of them all the time and stuff and I know he's zapping people and family ...

There is a dove on a light pole out in the parking lot. Doesn't that seem kind of odd? You would think that doves and crows would be close friends, but there is no evidence of this.

Matthew 1 17  So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations. Revelation 1 20  The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. - This one's tricky, take your time.
