The matchup of Matthew and Revelation is important and should be taught to our children in schools around the world. It would teach them how to looks for patterns that exist in subtle relationships.
Even though the matchup is fascinating, salvation through Jesus is the primary purpose of the Bible. Without salvation the Bible doesn't tell us much. The Bible is difficult to read and almost impossible to interpret. The Bible is full of parables and dark sayings. There are no discernible statements one can profess and see tangible results, like healings or anything else. People quote James 3:15, but I've quoted that and ended up in the emergency room. What does "raise him up" mean? it doesn't seem to mean "healed".
