Gary and The times tables. No, it's not a rock band from the 60s. Gary is a guy that I sat next to in the 5th grade. He was probably a genius, but maybe not in math. Maybe he had a mental block with math. Not sure, after all I was a 5th grader.
It was near the end of the year and Gary sat next to me. I sat at his right hand, in Bible Terms. He was flunking the times tables. He was getting zero on the quizzes. Gary got straight A's on spelling and English and writing.
